Summary: We loved our week in France. Communication with the owner and his friend, Franck who spoke english the week before and during our stay was very good. They left us a complimentary bottle of wine, apricot juice and jam. The house is in the mountains so not much around. It is the perfect place to stay if you are a keen cyclist as Mont Ventoux is in cycling distance. We enjoyed our mountain runs as well! We found a river pool on our run which was great for cooling off. There is a village a 10 minute drive away which has a large supermarket, a village market on Wednesdays and lots of restaurants. There isn't a shop in walking distance from the house but there is a restaurant (we didn't go as we had young kids). The pool was heated to 26.5C so the kids played for hours. There was a large first step so my 2 year old niece could play in the water without us getting in all the time. There were 8 comfortable sun lounger around the pool/on the patio. We had the option to clean the house ourselves instead of paying for a cleaner which was worth it and received full deposit back. All in all, we had a fantastic and relaxing time away and would definitely recommend it!
